  1. Hi,

Having visited for the first time primarily to confirm the date and time of the next meeting and not specifically found it. – I think it would be useful to have a list of the dates and times of the next 3 meetings or so? Unless it is on the site and I just can’t find it?

I do know it is the 2nd Monday at 7.30, but others may not if they come straight to this site.

    Thanks, Julia

  2. Re defibrillator : I basically think it is a good idea but would expect that all groups hiring the hall would someone who knows how to use it / familiarises themselves before the hire, in case of emergencies. Is there much maintenance to this equipment and how might its upkeep be managed?

Re CCTV cameras : anything which might enhance the overall security of our village is a good thing and I would support its purchase.

I was hoping to attend the meeting again this month as an interested member of the public but I’m afraid I’m committed on Monday evenings to a choir practice in Blaisdon. I found last month’s meeting very interesting and can report that I encouraged several people following that meeting to subscribe to the website.

  3. I wondered if there was an update on the cctv system for the village – are there any signs, is it in use, have there been any success stories? Sums were spent and more ring fenced from the Parish precept, although there is very little reported crime or anti social behaviour in the village. Conversely there is little money to pay for traffic calming when the speeds drivers reach passing through the village presents a real risk to all of us every day.
